The Diplomat

Sometimes on holiday, all you want is a burger. And a very nice cocktail. If that is you whilst you’re in Hong Kong, I can recommend The Diplomat. Tucked snugly away on a small street, you enter a chic, compact, dimly lit room that has a lot of charm. It feels established. There is a bar to stand at and have cocktails, as well as a few tables to eat at. The cocktail menu is inspired and includes an amazingly balanced pandan and gin cocktail called the Tarling. The food was incredible, too. We had a perfect beef burger and a really fun fish finger sandwich (which was actually massive and had a hint of schezwan pepper in it?? So good).
